Ideal for harsh environments, the P20U’s front panel is IP54 certified for dust and water resistance; it can be used for indoor applications where the touch screen may be exposed to humidity and occasional splashing of water. It also features 10-point touch, including gloved touch support for kitchens or restaurants. It is appropriate for operation within 32 ~ 110⁰ F ambient temperatures to meet the environmental demands of commercial applications, and its heat-pipe design allows for fanless operation ensuring long-term stability and silent, 24/7 operation, even in humid conditions.

The 11.6-inch, 16:9 multi-touch screen computer can stand alone or be VESA-mounted. With six USB ports, users can connect to various peripherals like barcode scanners, receipt printers, cash drawers, and more, for ultimate application flexibility. Optional accessories are available for various kiosk, digital signage and POS applications including mag-stripe and NFC readers, and WiFi support, perfect for ID or loyalty program cards.

Offering the latest Intel® Kabylake platform with an Intel® Celeron® 3865U 1.8 GHz dual-core processor with max TDP of 15W, the P20U has memory frequency support up to DDR4-2133 MHz, with a maximum capacity of 32GB, and built-in Intel® HD Graphics 610 to play full HD/1080p content on external displays. The P20U can house two solid-state drives or hard drives (one via an M.2 2280 slot and another via a SATA interface).

The P20U has a built-in Intel® Gigabit LAN interface and Realtek RTL 8723BE b/g/n and BT4.1 combo wireless network card, with transmission rates reaching up to 150 Mbps for significantly enhanced data transfer efficiency and operation speeds. It also supports Wake On LAN function so users can turn on the PO20U from sleep mode, rest mode, or when powered off via the internet. Its Power On by RTC function allows users to set a time to boot up the computer and turn off with the Windows task scheduler, which saves energy and eliminates the cost of on-site service.

The P20U is currently available through computer resellers and Shuttle’s Solutions Group; it comes with a three-year limited warranty on parts and labor.
